To apply for a project, please contact the supervisor advertising it. The application process is informal, but it is a good idea to explain why you are interested in the project and why you feel you are qualified. A CV can help the supervisor get a picture of your relevant background.
Eligibility
UROP is available for students in any but the final year of their respective degree programme (i.e., first and second year for BSc; first, second, or third for MSci). However, it is possible that the final year project results from a previous UROP with the same supervisor.
Students applying for UROP are expected to have attained a GPA of 70 or higher for their most recently completed year of study. First-year students that have not yet completed any exams are expected to have performed at an equivalent level in their coursework.
